You know that feeling when you’re trying to give an inspirational speech but everyone takes their clothes off? No? Well, the Belarusian president does.
Alexander Lukashenko was talking about the importance of technology to the national economy when he urged citizens “to get undressed and work till you sweat”.
Suuuuuuuuuuure Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko – you “didn’t mean it” like this. It was just lost in translation.
This could’ve been an honest mistake, a Freudian slip, or maybe this guy just wants a nude workforce. Whatever it is, it’s okay!
Listen, buddy – it’s 2016. It’s time to let that freak flag fly! Just own it – you’re the one man in your country who could make this happen without question. Personally, I’m happy to see it.
So many of our world leaders get caught up in economic crises, averting war, taking care of citizens, and all of that stupid nonsensical bullshit. I want a guy running my country who will occasionally just drop a “get naked and sweat” on us. That’s what we need.
Actually, scratch that. This is America. A third of our country is obese….and that third seems to be concentrated in the South. Maybe I don’t want my office to get naked and sweat.
Regardless, I bet President Lukashenko is a hell of a dude to party with and he seems like he’d be a really great boss, endearing himself to his employees and really giving them what they want. I can only imagine how great the citizens of Belarus feel about this.
One thing is for certain: I’ve finally figured out who my write-in candidate is going to be in the U.S. Presidential election…
