Don’t look now, but your boy just notched his 4th straight winning week in a row. I’ve found my stride and hot damn it only took me twelve weeks of football to get here! The season’s shrinking like a penis in cold water, so I don’t have much left to work with. I gotta keep knockin’ these picks out if I’m going to avoid my first losing season since I started picking games five years ago.

It’s Thanksgiving week – there’s a lot of fine football action on turkey day, and I’m going to dig in. I will probably eat my body weight in stuffing and finish the day passed out on the toilet. But, I’m just thankful that we made it through that whole butt-chugging proposition we were dealing with earlier in the season. Thankfully, we battled out of that. That’s what I’m thankful for this year.

Big Natural’s Picks

NCAAF: LSU -5 @ Texas A&M – At this point in the season, these two teams are looking at 2016 as lost potential. The Aggies are seeing the true value of having Trevor Knight at quarterback. The Tigers are middling. Still, I like the LSU defense and run game to bully around a reeling Texas A&M on Thanksgiving night.

NFL: Detroit -2.5 vs. Minnesota – I like the Lions in this spot. By the arm of Matthew Stafford, this Detroit offense can score. The question is whether or not they can stop the Vikings on defense. I trust them in a field goal game.

NCAAF: TCU +2.5 @ Texas – The Longhorns are completely unraveling. I don’t understand how they can be favored against a much more talented Horned Frogs squad. This line is undoubtedly the result of TCU’s 31-6 loss to Oklahoma State and the news that Charlie Strong will be fired from Texas at season’s end. It’s in Texas, but I’m not buying any of it. I’m going TCU.

NFL: Denver -3.5 vs. Kansas City – I think last week’s loss to the Bucs exposed Kansas City a bit. That could be the beginning of the end for the 2016 Chiefs. I like the Broncos big here.

NCAAF: South Carolina +24 @ Clemson – The Tigers haven’t exactly dominated as a large favorite this year. They were 20+ point favorites against six teams this season, and went 2-4 ATS in that spot. Thinking that the Gamecocks are better than, or at least on par with, Wake Forest, Pittsburgh, and NC State, and that this is a huge rivalry game, I think South Carolina hangs around.

NCAAF: Georgia -4 vs. Georgia Tech – Yep, I get it…rivalry game and all, but there’s no way the Bulldogs don’t cover a four point spread against a vastly inferior Yellow Jackets team at home.

NCAAF: Vanderbilt +8 vs. Tennessee – The Vols are out of the SEC East race, but if all shapes up, could still end up in the Sugar Bowl. There’s plenty to play for, but do they show up? Or, are they flat? Regardless, the Commodores have the makeup to beat them: a strong running game and a good defense.

NCAAF: Arkansas State -6 @ Louisiana-Lafayette – Fun Belt time yet again, folks! It’s a conference game, so that means the Red Wolves are going to demolish the Ragin’ Cajuns. I can’t figure Arkansas State out this year.

Last Week: 6-3
On the Season: 40-48-3 (45.5%)
