Son of a bitch. My winning streak is over, and my Christmas is probably ruined. I mean, how does one begin to even pick up the pieces after going 4-4 and hovering right below 50% on the season? You don’t, damn it. You just don’t. Now, I’ve been saying this for a month now, but fuuuuuuuuuuck – I’m running out of time to call this season a ‘W’ – I’ve never finished a season below 73% correct.

It might be time for me to give up football. Maybe I’m just a mindless schmuck who thinks he knows things, but really, is so stupid he doesn’t know that he’s an idiot. Shit. That’s me! I’m stupid and I don’t even realize it – all because I went with South Carolina +26.5.

Hello, darkness, my old friend…

Big Natural’s Picks

NCAAF: Navy -3 vs. Temple – I’ve been on Navy all season, and have a pretty successful track record in picking the Midshipmen ATS. I’m much too lazy to do the actual research on this, though. I won’t give up on ’em in the American Championship.

NFL: Chicago -1.5 vs. San Francisco – I feel bad for the Bears. They’ve been competitive, unlike the 49ers. San Francisco has an atrocious run defense, so Jordan Howard should feast.

NCAAF: Wisconsin -2.5 vs. Penn State – I don’t want to shit on what James Franklin has done at Penn State, but it feels like a bit of a phony 10-2 season to me. The Badgers play stifling defense and should win this one by ten.

NFL: Philadelphia -1 @ Cincinnati – the Eagles have to keep pace here, and are flat out better than the Bengals. The slide continues for Marvin Lewis.

NCAAF: Colorado-Washington, UNDER 58 – The two Pac-12 Championship contenders have surprisingly stifling defenses. This one ends 28-24 or 31-10…I just don’t know who wins it or what even happens here.

NFL: San Diego -3.5 vs. Tampa Bay – Everyone seems to be jumping on the Bucs bandwagon, which means it’s the perfect time for that bubble to burst. Don’t let the 4th place Chargers fool you, they would be in first place if they played in the AFC South or NFC North.

NCAAF: Alabama-Florida, OVER 40 – If you take this bet, it’s basically asking, “can Alabama score more than 40 points?” because we all know Florida isn’t. I say Alabama scores 42, and maybe Florida scores…maybe they don’t.

Last Week: 4-4
On the Season: 44-52-3 (45.5%)
