The Seahawks and Lacy agreed to a one-year contract that includes $2.865 million guaranteed. Lacy can earn an additional $2.685 million through incentives, including the weight clauses.

Forget OTAs and combines, this is the hottest competition of the NFL offseason. It’s Lacy vs. his ability to not eat a ton of junk food. That’s hard to do for those of us who love junk food. You root for the guy, though (maybe). This is the NFL’s version of The Biggest Loser.

Seems kind of silly, though, doesn’t it? Paying someone $55,000 to weigh 245 pounds or less seems like an arbitrary rule. But, hey – it’s like raising a child. Gotta do what you gotta do to get the results. Except it’s not a child – it’s a grown ass man who loves food.

But, guess what, folks!

He did it. The dream is alive – if this isn’t #BLESSED, I don’t know what is. Lacy just keeps collecting money to get not fat. Good for him.
