Eric Decker, Noted Good NFL Receiver, Is Chattin’ With the Titans

In case you missed it, the New York Jets pretty well cleaned house last week in what appears to be some sort of drastic revamp and rebuild. Included in this housecleaning was David Harris, who was the locker room leader of the Jets defense. This move came as a shock to the locker room. Indeed, it seems like Gang Green might have their sights on 2018.

But, in all the turmoil, some news that should encourage fans of the Tennessee Titans has come out. It looks like Music City’s team is interested in another of the Jets casualties, 7th-year wide receiver, Eric Decker.

You may not like him for his ability to trash talk, but like Mr. Kuharsky said, this is the type of player that the Titans covet. He’s a dependable route runner with sure hands. On top of that, when he’s healthy, he is an absolute scoring machine.

The dude has three 1,000+ yard seasons with 11+ touchdowns in ’em. Yeah, combine him with Rishard Matthews, Corey Davis, and Taywan Taylor, and you’ve got a pretty lethal receiving corps. Factor in the backfield with Marcus Mariota orchestrating the whole thing, and this could be the type of move that puts the Titans offense into the ‘elite’ category.

Regardless of whether the Titans reach a deal with Decker or not, Titans Facebook is at it again. Calm down, people. Decker is not going to be a number one receiver at this point in his career. But, he doesn’t have to be to become a successful player in Nashville. Don’t throw around the Super Bowl tag, please. I don’t want that juju on our team.

Also, Editor’s Note: I made sure to get all of his butt in the featured image. That’s for all the ladies out there.
