I Saved This Post on Instagram but I Can’t Figure Out Why on Earth I Thought I Could Write a Blog About It

When you realize you left your soy pellets at home

By now, you guys probably know how I do this. I spend my early mornings (usually 5AM-7AM) and my late evenings (typically 8PM-12AM) scouring the Internet, trying to find the best possible content to share through our site.

Believe it or not, I actually have personal rules to this stuff. I don’t like posting things that a thousand other media outlets have covered. Now, I do break this rule on occasion…say, I have a strong opinion on it. Or, if it’s important to a concentrated area of coverage on our site. We rarely “break news” for this reason, but those pieces aren’t the ones that have typically done well for us. So, I try to stick to the unique stuff.

Most important, I ask myself “can I get at least 250 words or more out of this?” Feels like that’s a good, solid ingestible amount of words for a nice quick post. Especially if said post is loaded with funnies.

All that said, I have no idea why I saved this post on Instagram. No freakin’ clue why I thought this was post-worthy….how many jokes can you possibly make about this video?

I mean, sure – don’t get me wrong – this is a great clip. It’s funny as all get out. The first time I saw it, I was laughing like Santa Claus on a cocaine bender. But, I don’t even know what this creature is.

Maybe I just saved it for my own mental well-being??? Like, “future Stoney is going to LOVE this when he’s having a bad day.”

I don’t know – I don’t know that we’ll ever know. And, you know what that means…cue the music:
