That’s an immediate 1-2-3 if I’ve ever seen one. Is this the WWE Performance Center? Or, just some random high school gym? Truthfully, it’s hard to say. But, the WWE is starting ’em young these days, and they’re apparently looking for talent anywhere they can get it.
Anyway, some people say that pro wrestling moves are over the top and unrealistic. Well, buddy, let me ask you something. Does this move look painful or not? Because in pro wrestling, pain is the ultimate name of the game. You can’t take things at face value. If you did, then you’d think, “no way can Kevin Owens just toss guys into the air for a Pop Up Powerbomb.” If you did, then you’d think, “why on Earth wouldn’t Neville just deliver a simple splash instead of risking injury with all the flips and twists?”
Well, I hate to break it to you, but pro wrestling is very real and there’s a ton of physics behind it. For instance, let’s break down what this move would do to your body.
First, you’re spinning around. That’s going to disorient you….maybe make you a little nauseous. Then, you’re launching what appears to be 10 feet in the air. So, your equilibrium is thrown off, you’re on the verge of vomiting and then your opponent just unmercifully rams you into the mat onto the back of your head.
Now, let me ask you again – does that look painful or not? Wrestling is real, and this clip is hard evidence of that.
I don’t know about you guys, but if you listen closely enough, you can hear the people in attendance chanting, “E-C-W! E-C-W! E-C-W!”
