Bill Snyder is one of my all time favorites. Guy is a veritable corpse and he still gets out there coaching the shit out of the Kansas State Wildcats. On top of it all, doesn’t he look like the sweetest old papaw?
The only thing I may love more than Bill Snyder being 100 years old and still coaching football is a good troll job, and that’s just what the big swingin’ dicks at Kansas State have pulled off on the entire state of Texas.

The latest win came over Texas A&M in the Texas Bowl last December. The victory brought K-State’s win total against Texas schools in 2016 to 5-0, having Big 12 wins over Texas Tech, Texas, Baylor, and, TCU coming during the season.
That’s right, Lone Star State – you were absolutely owned by the Wildcats. This dominance wasn’t limited to the Big 12 either. K-State beat the SEC’s Texas A&M, too. AND, as if beating all of your teams wasn’t enough, they won the Texas Bowl….the DAMN GAME HAS YOUR NAME IN IT! Just utter evisceration here.
Naturally, K-State got some t-shirts to commemorate the accomplishment. Wildcats AD John Currie posted photos of them from his Twitter account.
Really, what better way to establish dominance? Kansas State is the alpha here, and they just want to make sure all those little basketball schools in Texas know who runs shit. Brutal, brutal move – and I may just have to order one of these. I love trash-talking, personally. I think it adds a great element of entertainment to the sport, and I truly think (this isn’t me being sarcastic. This is real) that people take sports way too seriously, looking up to these people as role models and stuff. Not good.
But, this? This is the fabric of sport. This is what it means to own an opponent. This is a total “big swingin’ dick” move.
Snyder took three years away from coaching K-State between 2005 and 2009, but these wins are all his. Texas has 12 FBS programs, and Snyder is nine for nine in his most recent game against each one he’s played. The Wildcats have never had a game against Houston, SMU, or Texas State, which is probably good for all of those schools.
Kansas State’s all-time records against Texas teams are also generally good. The Wildcats are 10-7 against Texas, 8-8 against A&M, 8-6 against Baylor, 5-5 against TCU, and 8-9 against Texas Tech.
Nine for nine. This isn’t like, “oh, they beat Texas Tech and UTEP.” This is legit – Bill Snyder does not have a losing record against any Texas team. WOW.
Kansas State didn’t just win the Texas Bowl over TAMU last year — it also look home the victory in the rodeo that precedes the Texas bowl each year. One K-State assistant even said the Wildcats “rodeo-ed the bleep out of” the Aggies.
So it appears for now, K-State undoubtedly has Texas schools’ numbers. We’ll see what 2017 holds for the Wildcats’ streak.
Unbelievable – as if football wasn’t enough, now they’re beating Texans at their own game, the rodeo. Just gut-wrenching for Texas. It’s time for you Longhorns, Golden Bears, and Horned Frogs to rise up or else you’ll forever be at the mercy of this man:
