I know, I know. We keep saying, “we aren’t going to chime in on the NFL protests,” and then, what do we do? Chime in on the NFL protests. But, still, I don’t care who you are, or which side you come down on, there is nothing like a good ol’ blunder to fire up your Thursday.
So, just how hot is Charlie Daniels over all these protests? Well, he’s ready to boycott the NFL outright, and his first step was to take to Twitter last night and announce that he was not watching Thursday Night Football…PROBLEM: last night was still Wednesday and there was no football on last night.

Bless his heart. We’ve all been there. Shit, I actually got home yesterday and felt a tinge of panic because I thought it was Thursday, too. Weird. But, Charlie, my man – the ‘King of Mt. Juliet’ – you have to know these days, you commit a slip up like this, and it’s just going to be ammo for your opposition. There’s some pretty cruel replies to this that I won’t share, but this one just made me laugh:
