This Fire Escape Chute Tube Thing Seems Completely Radical

We are big fans of the future around here. It’s kind of important, I guess you could say. We should definitely be making an effort to create a better future for the kids. Even once did a podcast solely about the future that not a soul listened to because we aren’t really popular enough yet for people to invest an hour a day in apparently. But, still, every now and then, something comes along that commands our attention as futurists. Today, it’s this weird fire escape chute tube lookin’ thingy:

So, I have one major question right off the bat. Is this tube made out of Glad trash bags? I hope so, and I hope it’s the Febreze scented ones. If that’s the case, then I’ll definitely jump down this thing. But, I’m a little hesitant.

For one, the idea of jumping off of a building into something that is open on the other end is terrifying. I’m a big guy, so what happens if I rip the trash bag? Am I just going to tumble out the side of this sumbitch and splatter on the concrete? I don’t know, and I’m not willing to take that gamble.

For two, good luck not having a panic attack if you’re claustrophobic. That’s Smother City right there, so that alone could lead to a heart attack.

The future is a weird place.
