Gotta Love Scott Hartnell Dropping ‘Oh Fuck’ on NHL Network

Scott Hartnell returned to the Nashville Predators this offseason, and so far, it’s all blue skies. He has four goals and three assists so far this season, and has even seen some time on the top line, getting to play alongside Ryan Johansen and Viktor Arvidsson.

One thing that doesn’t seem to be going so well for Hartnell, though, is technology:

Can’t help but love it. That’s just an honest moment from Hartsy, folks…and if you did anything other than laugh at that then you have a huge dump in your pants.

Listen, I get it. I’ve never been a big fan of technology. I can remember being a kid and getting bored with my Super Nintendo after an hour or two. I didn’t get a smart phone until March of 2016 – and I only did that because I needed it for my day job.

So, hey – something goes wrong when I’m on the air, I might not know any better either. I think there’s an old rule in media that if you’re around a microphone you always assume it’s on. Something like that.

Well, Scott fuckin’ Hartnell ain’t no damn media member. He’s an every day guy like you and me. Sure, he’s a guy that has made a fortune playing hockey, and I’m a guy who is ecstatic to save $20 on my electric bill, but you get what I’m saying. He just has that ‘regular guy’ vibe. And, guess what – regular guys drop lots of f-bombs.

Shit like this is what makes these larger than life athletes seem human, so I’m all for it. Hell, I might even start cursing in meetings just to make it feel more like real life.
