The Force isn’t quite as powerful in this chapter, losing some of its shine by battling pacing problems, being a tad too crowded, & having a bloated run-time; still, there’s plenty to leave you in awe. Johnson tackles the larger-than-life legacy of Star Wars w/ moments of awesome action, light humor, & significant surprises. As Luke Skywalker, Hamill delivers his greatest performance & gives us hope once more.
