Well, it’s our second snow day in two work days. Nashville was snowed in last Friday with some pretty treacherous road conditions due to ice. Today is a different story. The snow’s a little fluffier and there appears to be less ice on the road.
I wouldn’t know, because I actually listen to my meteorologists and stay inside when they tell me to. Hopefully, you’ve done the same. But, I understand there are certain circumstances that force us to get out and about in the inclement weather. Hopefully, you’re doing so safely.
But, for those of us shacked up inside on days like today, it’s fun to catch the news, see how things are around the city, and click ‘like’ on the inevitable thousands of “SNOW DAY YAY” posts on social media.

We don’t get a whole lot of snow down here in Nashville – usually 2-3 times a year at most. When it does come down, it’s usually gone within a couple of days. So, you damned yankees can laugh at us all you want. This is a big deal for us, and we’re going surely going to enjoy it.
