Rough Night on the Diamond for This Goose Last Night

Another big night in baseball. Just lots of throwing balls and lots of hitting ’em. I’m sorry. I’m not the baseball guy around here. I can keep pretending that this is a post about baseball, or I can just get right to the goose that got loose on the baseball field last night.

As usual, here’s a link in case Instagram takes this video down.

First of all, we have to say hats off to this goose. It had a good run. I don’t know what you call the field crew here – the guy that was chasing him. Was that a ball boy? I don’t know. But, man – he had his work cut out for him, and this goose was relentless.

Gets down in the infield, just struttin’ around and puttin’ on a show for the crowd. Flyin’ around like the electric showboat goose that it is.

Sure, things get a little hairy when he tries to flee the stadium. No way he hits that light board that hard and doesn’t sustain a concussion, but they have programs for that kind of stuff today.

All’s well that ends well. Hey, who thought I’d be quoting Willy Shakespeare in an article about goose flying around a baseball field?

Side note: how the hell is this lady at the end so calm while essentially choking and holding a live wild goose? She must’ve grown up on a farm. Clutch city.
