Tank the 401k: Not Wasting Time Edition

Welcome all degenerate gamblers back into my weekly American football column, Tank the 401k. Here, I will divulge all my professional eagle-eyed opinions on the upcoming week. Call your bookie and empty those retirement accounts!

Another big week for your boy. Really wish I could have that Tampa Bay pick back from last night, but it’s the only pick I got wrong so I won’t complain too much. We’re still MILES away from butt-chugging Jack Daniel’s from the bottom of the Cumberland, so we are good. to. go. Why waste any more time? LFG!

BIG NATURAL’S TANK THE 401K PICKS

NCAAF: West Virginia -3.5 @ Texas Tech – I don’t want to overreact to the Red Raiders’ big win over Oklahoma State last week. Sure, Kliff Kingsbury is coaching for his life, but it won’t save them against the Mountaineers. After seeing Oklahoma struggle with Army, West Virginia has to be smelling blood in the water in the Big 12. They should completely overwhelm the Texas Tech defense.

NCAAF: LSU -12 vs. Ole Miss – We saw what happened when the Rebels (are they still the Rebels?) ran into a good defense in the Alabama Crimson Tide. I dare say LSU’s defense could be even better. This is a game where LSU could score twice and still cover.

NFL: Indianapolis -1.5 vs. Houston – The Colts should be 2-1 – feels like we were saying that quite a bit last season about the scrappy Colts. But, they’re competing and already have a win against a pretty solid Redskins squad. The Texans, on the other hand, are downright terrible.

NFL: Detroit +3 @ Dallas – Two teams heading in different directions. After a big win over the New England Patriots, the Lions have a little momentum going. Meanwhile, the Cowboys have a ton of question marks.

NFL: Kansas City -5 @ Denver – This one’s pretty simple. I don’t care if the Broncos have a pretty good defense. I love the Chiefs. They are playing offensive American football at a different level right now. Fireworks city, baby!

W-L Record: (3-0-1)
Last Week: (3-1-1)
On the Season: (13-5-1) – 72%
