PBR Hard Coffee Sounds Like Bad Decisions and Heart Failure to Me

PBR Hard Coffee hit stores in select states on July 1st, and I am having all kinds of emotions about the thought of Pabst Blue Ribbon and coffee mixed together.

PBR has now released “Hard Coffee,” a unique and fun drink that is made using Arabica and Robusta coffee beans and milk.

The brand calls it a “great tasting vanilla infused premium iced coffee” with 5 percent ABV.

I mean, I’ll try it. I guess. I’ll try anything once.

But, this just sounds gross. I’m not going to lie. I love PBR. I love coffee. But, I don’t think I need an alcoholic coffee made by PBR.

I know it’s not just PBR and coffee mixed together and canned, but damn it – that’s all I can think of for some reason. And, it sounds like a fucking heart attack waiting to happen.

The problem is that each beverage brings a certain mood with it. When I drink PBR, I’m chillin’ out trying to have a good time. It’s a great campfire beer. It’s a versatile good-time beer. PBR is that shit – you see someone with a PBR in his/her hand, you know it’s about to go down. Coffee, on the other hand, is reserved for the morning hours and the late afternoon slump. I need that to pick me up….the exact opposite of what a PBR is used for.

This hard coffee is paranoid schizophrenia in a can.

I have enough mental problems as it is. I don’t think I need PBR compounding those issues.
