Stephan Bonnar Nearly Decapitated Logan James at BLP’s Slamilton 2

UFC Hall of Famer Stephan Bonnar had a hell of a weekend in Indiana, but the highlight had to be him nearly taking Logan James' head off at Black Label Pro.

What a weekend for the UFC Hall of Famer, Stephan Bonnar. On Friday night, he took the ring in Jeffersonville, Indiana opposite Matthew Justice as a special attraction match at Paradigm Pro’s Heavyweight Grand Prix event. That match was like a sweaty, physical fever dream. Contested under UWFI rules, the stipulation stood to benefit Bonnar greatly. But, Justice brought the fight to Bonnar. It was bowling shoe ugly, folks – a war to the umpteenth degree. Bonnar came out victorious, but Justice earned his respect that night. It was one of the many highlights of an excellent event.

But, it’s his match against Logan James at Black Label Pro’s Slamilton 2 that got the indie wrestling world buzzing. Namely because Bonnar damn near kicked James’ head clean off his shoulders…

Yikes.

I mean, if you aren’t paying attention, it legitimately looks like James’ head is missing for a split second. Those of us in attendance thought we had just witnessed a man die. Stephan Bonnar came to Crown Point, Indiana to put Logan James in the fucking ground.

I might have felt bad for James if he didn’t come out, grab the mic, and run his mouth before the match. If you’re going to talk the talk, you have to be able to walk the walk. And, folks – I don’t think getting knocked into another damn dimension qualifies as “walking the walk.” All of Bonnar’s future opponents should take note of this – if you piss off the American Psycho, you will be destroyed. If you so much as think about signing a contract to fight Bonnar, you will catch CTE. That’s what I learned watching the man go this weekend.

Bonnar would go on to hit a damn elbow drop off the top rope to secure the win, because it’s 2019 and wrestling is pure insanity.

This is clearly not a man to be trifled with. Anyone who wants to step to Stephan Bonnar should be prepared to die – immediately. Plain and simple.
