Welcome in to a new feature we are trying out here on SoBros Network because we were recently approved to be on Google News (YUGE win, LFG), and I am testing whether or not it’s worth doing these sorts of power rankings for the SEO. Yes, that’s the entire basis for this set of NFL Power Rankings.

For me, it’s pretty simple. I’m just looking at wins and losses, and I’m looking at the eye test to determine my top 10 teams in the NFL each week. LFG.

NFL POWER RANKINGS: WEEK 13 2019

1. Baltimore Ravens (9-2) – There’s no hotter team in the NFL right now than the Ravens. There’s no better MVP candidate this season than Lamar Jackson. Everything just seems to be coming up Baltimore lately. They absolutely stomped the Los Angeles Rams on Monday Night Football, 45-6. This week is going to be a potential Super Bowl match-up as they host the San Francisco 49ers.

2. San Francisco 49ers (10-1) – The Niners really got things rights after the Seahawks beat ’em. Those two teams will play again to close the season in a game that could have homefield advantage on the line. This week, the Niners absolutely destroyed a good Packers team, 37-8. They continue to impress, but have a huge test in the Ravens this week.

3. Seattle Seahawks (9-2) – Sure, the Seahawks had to travel across the entire country, but they looked a little stagnant in the 17-9 win over the inconsistent Philadelphia Eagles. They host Minnesota this week on Monday Night Football in a game that has huge playoff ramifications.

4. New England Patriots (10-1) – The Patriots have a historic defense that is capable of winning them a championship. Thank goodness because those issues on offense don’t appear to be getting any better. If they can find some rhythm on offense, they’ll be lethal. But, it just hasn’t clicked yet for some reason. They play the Texans in Houston on Sunday Night Football.

5. New Orleans Saints (9-2) – After surviving a game Carolina Panthers squad, the Saints are starting to pull away in the NFC South. They can actually clinch the division with a win at Atlanta (one of the only two teams to beat the Saints this year) on Thanksgiving night.

6. Minnesota Vikings (8-3) – The Vikings are coming off of a bye to travel to Seattle for a big time game in the NFC. Gotta love the way they’re playing football right now and with that Packers loss, they could rise up and claim the NFC North.

7. Green Bay Packers (8-3) – Just an absolute disaster for the Packers on Sunday Night Football. The 49ers exposed ’em. This doesn’t look like a team that’s making any noise at all come January. They travel to New York to play the Giants in what should be a “get right” game. But, they’ve shown an ability to not show up at all twice now this season.

8. Buffalo Bills (8-3) – I love the way the Bills play football (a lot like the way I love the way the Vikings play football). But, they’ve only beaten one team with a winning record this season (the Tennessee Titans). That schedule is about to get a whole lot tougher with games against the Cowboys (in Dallas on Thanksgiving), Ravens, Steelers, Patriots, and the new-life Jets to close the season. We’ll find out whether or not this team’s legit soon enough.

9. Houston Texans (7-4) – The Texans got a huge AFC South win over the Indianapolis Colts on Thursday Night Football, but it looks like this division is going to come down to the wire. They can ill afford a loss, and boy that seems difficult to avoid with the New England Patriots coming to town on Sunday Night Football.

10. Kansas City Chiefs (7-4) – The Chiefs are coming off of a bye week for a big AFC West showdown against an Oakland Raiders team that’s reeling from a shocking loss to the New York Jets. They still have to travel to New England on 12/8, but the schedule after that sets up nicely for the Chiefs to make a run, assuming they can iron things out on defense.

CURRENT SUPER BOWL PREDICTION

Ravens over Seahawks – The Ravens look like an unstoppable force right now. They just line up and impose their will upon their opponents, and as of late, there’s been nothing anybody can do to stop them. It’s going to take a monumental effort if anyone’s beating this team right now. They’re talented, well-coached, and highly motivated. In the NFC, I still like the magic of Russell Wilson and those Seahawks simply finding ways to win games to carry them on a deep run this January.
