The season ended a little earlier for the Seattle Seahawks than they would’ve liked. But, that doesn’t take away from the fine season they had. Russell Wilson was in the MVP conversation, and this team was a legit Super Bowl contender. Injuries certainly didn’t help, as the ‘Hawks ended up having to essentially sign guys off their couches. That led to the return of Marshawn Lynch. Beast Mode gave it his all on this postseason run.
When asked if he would be returning for the 2020 season, he just took it upon himself to drop some life advice for the ages:
“Take care of y’all bread, so when y’all done, you can go ahead and take care of yourself.”

I love that he pointed out what a vulnerable time of the season this is for a lot of guys. I mean, these guys work their whole lives to win football games, they suffer a devastating loss, and then they have microphones in their faces asking them all sorts of questions they probably aren’t in the right frame of mind to answer.
But, bro – y’all better listen to these words.
This isn’t just about football. LISTEN to what the man’s saying – take care of your mind. Take care of your body. Put your damn money in the bank.
I didn’t expect this to hit so hard, but damn. Here we are. Marshawn Lynch has me thinking about my own retirement and the frailty of human life. I hope you’re all looking into how you can protect your chicken.
PS. Gotta love all the people in the mentions who are being outright racist, or are unwittingly being racist trying to figure out what ‘chicken’ means. It’s not that hard to understand what he’s saying, people. To quote our buddy RHog, “it’s time to hold ctrl + alt + delete and start civilization over.”
