Love him or hate him, Brock Lesnar told quite the story (and set up quite the story too, for that matter) at the 2020 Royal Rumble. He tied the previous record of 13 eliminations, and practically ran through the first half of the field.
We had some nice nods to former rivalries with Kofi Kingston and Rey Mysterio. I loved what he did with Shelton Benjamin. But, we got a tease of a match we never knew we needed when Keith Lee hit the ring and went toe to toe with the Beast.
Honestly, Lesnar’s reaction to Lee’s arrival was everything.

Hell yeah, Brock! That big beefy stud is coming to mess you up. I feel like this was probably all of us the first time we saw the limitless one. Like, “WHOAAAA….BIG BOI!” The guy’s a star in the making, and can do anything in the ring. That moment he got at Survivor Series was awesome, and now this?! Just good good shit all around.
Brock Lesnar wound up being eliminated by Drew McIntyre after Ricochet delivered a low blow. We’re set for Lesnar vs. McIntyre at WrestleMania, but this stuff with Lee made for a fun little moment in a Rumble that was littered with them.
Now, we just need WWE to deliver on this and give us the Lesnar vs. Lee match at some point, right?!
