Matt McGloin Took a Big Time Dump on His Own Team’s Offense

Things did not go too well for Matt McGloin and the New York Guardians this weekend. Did that warrant McGloin taking a dump on his whole offense? *shrugs*

XFL Week 2 is in the books, and boy oh boy, does it just keep pumping out the headlines. The D.C. Defenders and the Houston Roughnecks remain the class of the XFL so far, and as the Defenders blanked the New York Guardians on Saturday, quarterback Matt McGloin had some W O R D S for his offensive coaching staff and the game plan they put together.

Do we know if the XFL allows players to drink during games?!?! ‘Cause this sure as hell seems like Matt McGloin just had a few and started letting shit rip. Throw out the whole damn game plan! This is embarrassing! We’re getting our asses kicked by XFL MVP candidate Cardale Jones!

I’m sure McGloin played extremely well and definitely was in a justified spot in throwing his entire offense under the bus on national television.

*checks stats*

8/19 for 44 yards, two interceptions, 10.1 passer rating.

Oh……oh…..oh honey. WUT -and I repeat- WUT is you doin?!?! This is a level of confidence I strive for. Who cares that I played so poorly I got benched? I’m so good. Must be the coaching staff’s fault. That’s the kind of blind confidence that ensures you keep failing upwards. Like, who knew Matt McGloin was even still playing football? It’s like a much less impressive version of Lane Kiffin. He’s so confident that he just keeps getting jobs until eventually he’s actually good. Maybe that’s what’s going on here. Waiting for the announcement that McGloin is taking over as head coach for the New York Guardians.

The Guardians lost that game 27-0, for what it’s worth.

Hot damn, I love the XFL.
