Boneless Thugs-N-Harmony is a thing that really exists now that Bone Thugs-N-Harmony have officially changed their names to promote Buffalo Wild Wings.

Man, lots of Buffalo Wild Wings talk on SoBros Network this week. I guess we gotta shout out their marketing team for creating big time buzz about the B-Dubs. First, it was Brittany’s review of the Down South Margarita. Now, we’re talking about the Boneless Thugs-N-Harmony. That’s right. You read that correctly.

In one of the stranger publicity stunts we’ve ever come across, the hip-hop group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, one of Cleveland’s best-known musical exports, has just announced that it has entered a sponsorship deal with Buffalo Wild Wings and will change its name to Boneless Thugs-N-Harmony.

Have we confirmed that this was a publicity stunt? Do we know for sure that this wasn’t some sort of creative revival? I mean, I’ve had some pretty revelatory trips to Buffalo Wild Wings. The kind that shake you to your absolutely core.

Or, do we know if it’s a stand for a social cause? Like, are bones secretly bad for you? And, the Boneless Thugs-N-Harmony are here to raise awareness of the dangers of having a skeleton? Think about it – can’t break any bones if you don’t have any bones. Think of all the pain that would save humanity.

Honestly, I think this is 100,000% real. Did you guys not watch the documentary that came with the initial article? There’s trouble in paradise. Seems like the kind of thing that would be incredibly difficult to fake. So, I’m ready to officially break the news that this is permanent.

We just need to clear up the ‘why’ of it all. Some of you guys are suggesting that it was purely for the money, but I just can’t see these guys selling out like this…
