HBO dropped the official teaser for Bad Education starring Hugh Jackman and Allison Janney earlier this week.

When you got that HBO fuck money, you can shell out some dough for superstars like Ray Romano. That’s for sure. I guess Hugh Jackman is popular, and Allison Janney can act, too. But, we all know who’s really making the money here for Bad Education.

Anyway, the film is set to drop this Spring, as HBO released the official teaser earlier this week. Here’s the synopsis from IMDB:

The unfolding of the single largest public school embezzlement scandal in history.

This flick’s based on true events that happened at a high school in Roslyn Heights, a neighborhood on Long Island. This all went down while writer Mike Makowsky was a student there, no less. Pretty wild shit.

For the official trailer, smash that play button below:

“Frank….I’ve been doing some digging….I’m…concerned…..with what I’ve found….”

Line of the whole damn thing. Perfect. *chef’s kiss* Hugh Jackman with a Long Island accent? Well, damn – that’s just the icing on the cake, baby. LFG!

Jackman and Janney are both garnering some serious praise for their roles in this flick. But, maybe we cool it with the “his best work ever” take for now? I don’t know. I’m still salty that he didn’t get the love he deserved for Prisoners. This dude is one of the best in the business, so I’m eager to see just about damn well anything that he’s in.

Bad Education is set to premier on HBO on April 25, 2020.
