Please Don’t Worry: SoBros HQ Is Just Fine

Thank you all for the outpour of support, but SoBros HQ is just fine. That's because it isn't actually a real, physical place.

Late last week, I received word that the fucking coronavirus had made its way into a “SoBro office building.” Understandably, people started reaching out and asking if we were okay.

Courtesy of the Nashville Business Journal:

The building becomes the third in Nashville with a known case of coronavirus, joining the city’s iconic AT&T Tower and the Gulch Crossing building on that list.

Relax, folks. I can absolutely, 100% confidently say that this was not our building.

Mainly, that’s because we don’t actually have a building. We refer to ‘SoBros HQ’ as if it’s a real place, but really…it’s just one of a number of rooms in any of the SoBros’ house. Really, we’ve worked in several different places. Anywhere that you can plug a laptop into a charger, that’s SoBros HQ.

In a way, ‘SoBros HQ’ is just an idea. You can’t put an idea in a single place, can you? It’s not confined to the regular and physical confines of time and space. It can exist anywhere. Some say that’s what makes an idea so dangerous. In the right brains, an idea can turn into anything. That’s SoBros HQ. Completely intangible and totally dangerous.

Or, it’s like fucking Asgard. If you’re a fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, then you already know what I’m talking about. Asgard gets blown to shit because of Surtur and Hela, and ol’ Odin is there in that vision to Thor talkin’ about how ‘Asgard is not a place.’ That shit hits hard, y’all. Asgard is about the people….the Asgardians…it ain’t about the actual physical planet.

That’s the SoBros Network. We’re fine, y’all.
