Arnold Has Become a Beacon of Positivity in These Trying Times

Arnold is stepping up and encouraging people to stay at home and not be idiots and morons during the coronavirus outbreak.

You know you’ve made it in world history when you can simply be known by one name. That’s Arnold. The man has been apart of the fabric of Americana for what feels like a century. I mean, did bodybuilding even exist before Arnold? How many of us traded for a copy of Pumping Iron because it would be the key to us getting YOKED?!? Then, we watched The Terminator, saw his transition to politics, inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame….I mean, everybody knows Arnold. The man’s a legend.

That’s why I’m stoked to see him step on Twitter and fighting the good fight against the spread of COVID-19.

He’s done several more videos, but this is the one that got some real traction and pointed a lot of people to this Twitter feed. 13.2 MILLION VIEWERS – are you kidding me?

That’s what we in the industry call ‘moving the needle.’ That’s the Arnold effect. And, for good reason. This man knows the way to our collective heart. It’s cute and adorable animals. Whiskey and Lulu steal the show here. But, every story needs an antagonist and some conflict. That’s where Cherry comes into play…

Cherry, you rascal. You have to open up that heart. I’m betting that’s where we get by the conclusion of this story. Lulu eventually gets Cherry to come around. This is high drama, folks, and definitely my sanity starting to slip from doing nothing but looking at Twitter for the last week.

Trust me – I’ve been keeping up with every episode.

If that doesn’t get you, he’s in his pool smoking a stogie bein’ like “look it’s not that hard – just don’t go outside unless you have to.” Is it easier to do when you’re set financially and have a pool and cute fuzzy critters to kick it with? Sure. But, I’m not going to think about that when I look out the window at my ghetto ass apartment complex and my 2006 Nissan Altima that currently has a flat tire.

I’m going to think about Arnold. I’m going to nod at my Altima. And, I’m silently going to think, “hot damn…I bet I’ve made him proud,” as I sit on my couch and don’t do jack shit.
