The SoBros Hot Minute is our space to vent about whatever might be on our mind. Usually, just a quick thought or two on something that irks us, something that we love, or something we think more people need to notice. On today’s episode, I’m going to lobby for Thanksgiving getting a little more respect in the ‘Best Holiday’ talk.
Yeah, I know it’s spring time. The trees are beginning to bloom, and Thanksgiving is probably one of the last things on your mind right now. But, I made a big time EIC boo boo and forgot nearly two months’ worth of SoBros Hot Minute episodes as I tried to migrate them from YouTube to the site. Please see my quote from the also out of season cloves episode:
I thought I was completely up to date with putting each episode of The SoBros Hot Minute on the site. All 19 are available on the SoBros Network YouTube channel, but I also thought I had embedded ’em here on the site. That’s apparently not the case. There’s four episodes that I missed. Oops.
There ya have it.
That said, this one’s going to do it for the SoBros Hot Minute migration. We’re all ACTUALLY caught up now. I recorded this episode late last year out of frustration with the ‘Halloween vs. Christmas’ debate. I’m a big time Christmas guy. I’m a big time Halloween guy. I just love the holidays. I love everything about the season change….from Labor Day through the end of the year, THAT is my sweet spot.
But, I do feel like Thanksgiving is often lost in the shuffle as Team Halloween takes on Team Christmas in vicious (okay, maybe that’s hyperbolic) social media debate. So, I’m going to stick up for my favorite holiday a bit here.
