When you think about the great directors in Hollywood, Peter Berg is probably not the first name that comes to mind, admittedly. But, with Spenser Confidential hitting Netflix not too long ago, he’s fresh in our minds.
So, I decided to hop on a call with our resident film critic, Brandon Vick, to bang out a new episode of The Vick’s Flicks Podcast. On it, we dive into Berg’s portfolio as an actor and a filmmaker – including everything from The Rundown in 2003 to his most recent five-movie run and bro-mance with Mark Wahlberg. The guy has had an interestingly hit-or-miss career as a director, and we do our best to try and provide a Peter Berg Mount Rushmore.
