Yes, as crazy as it may be to believe, there’s nothing we don’t write here at SoBros Network. In addition to sports coverage, movie reviews, commentary on ridiculous viral videos, and who-knows-what-else, we also dip our toes into writing fictional stories and share them exclusively on our Patreon page! Allow me to keep a running “bank” of all of our SoBros Short Fiction stories so you don’t have to scroll through hundreds of posts to find ’em.

It’s Nothing (2020)link – We grow up. We settle in. We find our everyday lives and we live them out. With a million different possibilities branching out of a million different decisions, we’re all beholden to our routine. Why? Why don’t we explore change once we’ve achieved the stability and security of the routine? How many things go unsaid because it just doesn’t feel normal?

Stories I Wrote in Second Grade (2020)link – That’s right – I’ve technically been writing short fiction since childhood. I found two of my stories while digging out old junk from the closet recently and decided I’d share them!

The Attic (2020)link – Sometimes, a glitch in the Matrix can unravel truths that have remained hidden for decades. Years pass, people come and go, but the pain of a long life can ring eternal if unresolved.

Bastion (2021)link – When the zombie apocalypse shows up on Bastion’s front door, he is faced with the impossible challenge of getting his family to safety.

Big Incel Energy (2021)link – When you feel entitled, think the world is out to get you, and believe you have the right to protect yourself from any perceived threat, you become capable of some truly deranged and dangerous behavior.

A Hard Day and a Cheeseburger (2021) link – “The weight of it all, and the slight chill in the air, made him shudder. It drew a grumble from his throat. He brushed it off – “Time for a damn cheeseburger.”

Swings (2022) link – “Could you have felt something that you’d have never otherwise felt? Did you miss out on moments you’d treasure for the rest of your life?”
