Let’s face it – every day we are routinely bombarded with questions. When you’re an emerging media company in Nashville, people just want to know what your opinions are on everything. It’s only natural. And, since our duty is to serve the people, well, we have no choice but to be present. That’s the SoBro Way. Also, aren’t mailbags just a barrel of laughs anyway? Welcome to the newest weekly recurring feature up in this bitch: The SoBros Mailbag. As always, use #SoBrosMailbag to hit us up on Twitter.

Question:

Answer:

I actually don’t feel like I’m as high on this schedule as a lot of other Titans fans are. I hate hate hate hate HATE opening the season on the late game on Monday Night Football IN Denver against a team that figures to be a dark horse in the AFC. The Vikings, Steelers, Bills, and Texans won’t be an easy open to the season, but I absolutely hate how it ends. That big rematch with the Ravens comes late in the season, and then the team ends the year with three of their last four on the road (including a trip to Green Bay). I just don’t like the way that’s all laid out and I think it could lead to a slip-up or two.

Now, all that said, I do think the Titans are poised to be one of the best teams in the AFC. The offense is coming back almost completely intact, and the defense added a couple of intriguing pieces. Not to mention, #ClowneyWatch2020 is still ongoing.

I still think there’s 10 wins on this schedule, so I’m going 10-6. Hopefully, that’ll be enough to win the AFC South…that has to be the goal this season. Get to the playoffs and host a game instead of having to go on the road week after week after week.

Keep the questions coming – catch y’all next week!
