Officer Downe is an upcoming comic to film adaptation from writer Joe Casey who also penned the movie’s script which will be directed by infamous Slipknot drummer Shawn ‘Clown’ Crahan. The movie stars Sons of Anarchy alumni Kim Coates in the title role about a police officer who is constantly resurrected after getting killed in the line of duty several times.
Officer Downe comes from Man of Action imprint/Image Comics. Fun fact for you all – Crank codirector Mark Neveldine is producing so hold onto your butts, it’s about to get even crazier than the Clown from Slipknot directing a major full length feature. The film stars Kim Coates, Tyler Ross, Lauren Velez, Reno Wilson, and Bruno Gunn.
