What happens when you get two people who love each other and love the WWE on a podcast together? Magic.
Stoney Keeley & Brandon Vick get together to dish about all things WWE in 2015 – namely, that his quality matches, WWE (and U.S.) Championship run, and dick pic game made Seth Rollins the WWE Superstar of the Year despite his gruesome injury costing him the final two months of the year.
Don’t discredit the year that John Cena, Roman Reigns, Kevin Owens, or Dean Ambrose had, though, as the SoBros discuss the merits of each man’s 2015.
All of the Four Horsewomen are mentioned in the Diva of the Year discussion. While Stoney claims Sasha Banks as the greatest women’s wrestler in the world, Brandon thinks 2015 belongs to Charlotte – really, is anyone wrong here? You tell us.
Tag Team of the Year = New Day. No questions. Moving on…
…just kidding. Shout-out to Enzo & Cass….hope to see you two on the main roster soon!
As far as bizarre moments of the year, the Undertaker’s maniacal laugh at SummerSlam easily takes the cake, though Eva Marie, Jon Stewart, Rusev, and the “Master of the Feed Me More” himself, Ryback, may have something to say about that.
Show of the Year becomes a little dicey, as Stoney looks at NXT twice, while both men agreed that WWE nailed it with the big two (WrestleMania & SummerSlam) this year – surprise of the year was the Beast in the East special for Stoney, and TLC for Brandon.
As far as the Greatest Moment of the Year is concerned, two immediately came to mind: Rollins’ cash-in at ‘Mania and Kevin Owens pinning John Cena clean. However, Reigns’ winning the WWE Championship on Raw, The Rock & Ronda Rousey, and Sting’s return are also discussed.
The two are on board with Cena vs. Owens for Rivalry of the Year, and while Brandon says their contest at Elimination Chamber was also the Match of the Year, Stoney looks to NXT for a Women’s Championship match that didn’t see Sasha Banks take on Bayley for the honors.
In fact, Stoney claims that three NXT matches could present an argument for the greatest women’s wrestling match of all time, and Brandon adds that watching Becky Lynch perform is like watching dolphins swim.
