Happy to See Pacman Jones Has Cleaned up His Act, and by ‘cleaned up,’ I Mean Spitting on Nurses and Telling Cops to S His D

If there’s one dude the nation is rooting for, it’s definitely Adam “Pacman” Jones. I mean, seriously, this guy is a model comeback story. Forget second chances, Jones has demonstrated a seemingly innate ability to get chance after chance. At this point, pretty sure he’s on his 13th chance with the NFL.

That gives me hope – don’t know about you guys – but me being the degenerate I am, I’m hopeful that when I inevitable screw my life up, I’ll be able to get dozens of chances to prove myself even though I continually disappoint those around me.

What’s that? I’m nowhere near as talented as Pacman Jones? Well, that’s just a matter of opinion.

Props to Bleacher Report for this write-up (even though they told me my writing didn’t fit their style guide (can’t imagine why)):

A video published Monday showed Cincinnati Bengalscornerback Adam Jones in a confrontation with a police officer before and after his January arrest.

Per TMZ, Jones was captured in the back of a squad car saying “suck my d–k,” among other expletives, to an officer (warning: video contains NSFW language).

You’ll have to go to the article to watch the first video. Sorry, guys – but you knew what you were getting into when you started reading the work on this site. #Technology.

Jones also told the officer “I hope you die tomorrow.”

TMZ published another video that showed a calmer Jones before he was placed in the squad car:

When Jones interrupted the officer, the officer said, “Keep yelling, and see what happens.”

Jones was charged with assault, disorderly conduct and obstructing police.

The 33-year-old also allegedly spit on a nurse while he was being booked, but a felony charge of harassment with a bodily substance was dropped in March. He pleaded not guilty to the misdemeanor charges and is due back in court May 16.

We’ve all been here before – inconvenienced at a minor level, or literally getting arrested, and thought the best course of action to take was to tell someone to suck our dicks, or quite literally, spit on people. That seems like a basic human reaction if you’re a child who doesn’t know how the real world works.

And, really – Jones is showing his wisdom by wishing the officer to die tomorrow. He knows that if the officer died immediately, the car would likely careen into a ditch and who knows what happens then?

This is what Jones is, though – just a young guy trying to find his way in life. Some of us “grow up” by the time we’re 18. But, that’s not the case for everyone. In Jones’ case, it’s taken him about 12 years to grow up, and I definitely would not say he’s even remotely close to being there. So, more like ’12 years and counting.’ But, hey – to each his own.

Every man has to find his own way according to what’s in his heart. In Pacman’s heart, it’s insulting and degrading authority figures and spitting on people. Which, if we’re being honest here, what would you rather him do? Spit on people or shoot people? Just positing that before any of us is too quick to judge.

But, really – how in the rightful fuck does this guy still have a job?
