In this day and age of online dating, assholes seem to be populating the Earth. Indeed, chivalry is dead. But, thankfully, there are still gentlemen out there, and I’m talking real gentlemen in the traditional sense of the word. These men are bringing romance back into the forefront of society. For example, take a gander at the story of Brandon Thompson…

Police body camera video captured Brandon Thompson being arrested for six felony warrants on his birthday.
But it also captures a very special moment — one that caught everyone off guard.
“When the other officer told me he was gonna propose I think my initial response was, are you kidding me?” said Lincoln Anderson, Muskogee Police Department spokesman.
Love will find a way. I think that’s from Jurassic Park, but you know….it applies here, too. Brandon here is about to be towed away for oh just a minor SIX FUCKING FELONIES. But, the police allow him the opportunity to get down on bended knee and bare his heart to his beloved. I, for one, am glad. I mean, sure, the next time he’s on his knees will be for a completely different reason in prison.
But, for the time being, this is a nice story – one of wild romance and togetherness at all costs. If only he didn’t commit those six felonies! Then, this might have a shot at a real happy ending that doesn’t involve prison sex.
Anderson hopes that this act of kindness shows that police are not just there to take people to jail, but also they’re human beings who feel much of the same feelings, too.
But he also hopes that Thompson learns a valuable lesson.
“Maybe by him taking this step to propose to her, so they can get married, he can take a step to getting his life together and putting these warrants behind him and improving the life of his kids and his future wife,” Anderson said.
Showing that love has no boundaries.
I don’t know. I thought literally the only job police folk have is to throw people in jail. Otherwise, why would you have a jail? And, if there’s no jail, why do you need police? Stay woke, America. This is nothing more than spin city.
Maybe love doesn’t have boundaries. But, I’m pretty sure those steel bars at least have a say in the matter.
