Credit to SEC Media Days for never ceasing to amaze me. It’s been nearly a week since the festivities concluded, but stories like this are still popping up. In this case, we have a bona fide mystery on our hands. It appears as though South Carolina tight end Hayden Hurst is featured in an ad for a “Men Rugby Oral Sex Pussy Masturbator.” Needing to get to the bottom of this, Jake Weaver of Touchdown Alabama Magazine was able to pin Hurst down and get some sort of answer.
I asked Hayden Hurst about the Adult Toy ad from @RedditCFB at SEC Media Days. Here was his response: pic.twitter.com/fPdNNtZlJS

Well, there it is – he outright denies that he knowingly agreed to this ad. BUT, he does acknowledge that that is indeed his image. He sounds somewhat intrigued by prospect of appearing in an adult toy ad, though. I feel like, as an investigative journalist, I should mention that.
And, in case you were wondering, thanks to Reddit, we have the ad in question:
So, this is just bad graphic design. For one, they don’t play rugby in helmets. This is clearly American football. That’s not even a rugby ball! Second, does some sort of massive rugby fetish exist? Why is it that a “rugby inspired” pussy masturbator sells, but a plain ol’ pussy masturbator can’t move? Are rugby players world-renowned pussy eaters? So many questions here. Also, why are they calling it a ‘pussy masturbator’ instead of a plain old vibrator??
If you’re uncomfortable with how liberally I’m using the term ‘pussy masturbator,’ then I apologize. I’m not comfortable either. But, sometimes – being investigative journalists like we are, we have to just report the facts.
We may never know what’s truly going on here, but I find it hard to believe that you can just end up on a pussy masturbator ad like this randomly.
