This Is Why Us Big Boys Shouldn’t Zipline

Death by drowning, while zip lining ☠

Ouch. Murdered twice – once physically and then again emotionally. That’s bad. You know it’s bad when you actually die twice. But, the minute he hits the ground on that first bump I knew it was over. That zipline is struggling to keep up and ultimately gives too much.

That had to hurt, too. He jumped off a platform and basically went ass first into the ground. It wasn’t a full-on drop, but he was humming right along. Then, before he knew it, his head’s underwater. At that point, you have to act fast…considering your feet are tied up above you and there’s not much you can do to keep breathing. That would be extremely inconvenient for a fat guy considering fat guys aren’t typically noted for their athletic stamina.

I don’t want to say us big boys just shouldn’t do fun things like this, but at the same time, look what happens. This man was just trying to have some fun and what did he get for it? A busted ass that was dragged through a pond. Though I will say…he responded quickly to having his head dunked underwater. He at least had the wherewithal to keep his head above water. A lesser (fatter) man may have just laid there and drowned.

This guy should just be grateful this wasn’t one of those “extreme adventures” zipline experiences, where they have crocodiles and shit in the water. Also, this guy should never even think about attempting a zipline adventure like that.

As a 6’1″, 280-pound man, my heart goes out to this guy. R.I.P. his dignity.
