One of the most underrated aspects of football season is the NFL press conferences that come along with it. Particularly, I’m talking about those wild meltdown press conferences. Since we celebrated the return of college football by reliving Mike Gundy’s all-time classic “I’m a man! I’m 40” rant, I figure we should take a look at similar pressers in the NFL. Enjoy:
“CAN’T WIN WITH ‘EM!” I love it. I will never get tired of watching Mike Singletary, high on life, ranting about Vernon Davis. Hey, it ended up working – Davis really grew up. Singletary is one of my favorite football characters, and whenever I see his face, I immediately think about the story that circulated of him stripping down to his underwear in the locker room during a tirade. Don’t really remember why – but I’m sure he had a point that could only be illustrated by standing in his underwear and yelling at people.
But, no one does it better than Jim Mora, Sr. – let’s be real. PLAYOFFS!?? PLAYOFFS….YOU KIDDIN’ ME?! The all-time G.O.A.T. NFL press conference.
Also, raise your hand if you saw the Kansas City Chiefs’ 42-27 DRUMMING of the New England Patriots coming. That’s what I thought – not a damn hand raised. That’s right, I can see through your computer. Always watching.
