Beth Phoenix and Edge have been “a thing” for several years now, for those of you who don’t already know this. The wed around this time last year, if I’m not mistaken. You guys know the drill by now – we’re bloggers. Not real journalists, so I’m pretty sure that means we don’t have to do research.
Anyway, we’re talking about real, bona fide WWE Hall of Famers here. Phoenix is a 4-time WWE Women’s Champion, a standout competitor from her era and all of WWE history for that matter. She went into the Hall of Fame earlier this Spring. “The Rated R Superstar” Edge is an 11-time WWE Champion, five time Intercontinental Champion, and an astonishing 14-time Tag Team Champion. The accolades go on and on as he’s one of the most accomplished WWE superstars of all time. He went into the Hall of Fame five years ago, a year after he retired. It was as close to a ‘first ballot’ selection as you’ll find in the WWE.
So, let’s not kid ourselves, people. This is a real power couple. We got a couple of badasses on our hands.

This used to be one of the most imposing figures in women’s wrestling history and a guy who would literally throw you through fire to win a match. But, it turns out – they’re just like the rest of us! Except they look way happier. Too happy almost – just vacationing, eating, drinking, taking in the local culture. Just bright, illuminating smiles. My goodness, what is this?!?! A single tear streaming down my face? It’s beautiful.
Anyway, this just warmed my heart, so I figured I should share it with you guys. Now, back to the usual filth that goes on this web site.
