All in All, It Was a Good Weekend for Rabbits

Full disclosure, I wrote this piece three days ago and just forgot to publish it. But, listen – I have a day job, people. I’m accountable for shit. I have stuff to do. Still, I think it’s worth posting as a fan of rabbits in general. I know there are other fans of rabbits out there, too, so why not share the big weekend these creatures had, am I right?

First up, we have this little guy:

Touch down Donnie Darko

Excellent form. I mean, he’s like the Barry Sanders of rabbits, just cutting on a dime and taking it to the house. The crowd is going wild, and the announcers made this probably a top 10 sports call of all time. Sorry, I just love to overreact like everyone else in society.

Now, we have this guy:

I have no problem watching this bunny play in the leaves until winter arrives @icanteven

Just playing in the leaves without a care in the world. How often do rabbits have to worry about being caught and eaten by coyotes and hawks and stuff? Don’t you think it’s a huge win when they can relax a bit and play with some dead leaves? Good for you, rabbit. There’s at least one dude in Nashville who is celebrating you and cheering you guys on.

Like I said, all in all, it was a great weekend to be a rabbit.
