The NFL has seen an incredible influx of rookie running back talent. You look at the league rushing leaders so far this season, and it’s Kareem Hunt #1…Leonard Fournette #2. That’s pretty unusual, I would think, but I’m too lazy to do the actual research. Before Dalvin Cook suffered his injury, he was in the mix, too. Or, in other words, this looks like a damn good class of running backs.
Now, some video has surfaced that gives me an even deeper respect for Fournette in particular:

Hold on, let me translate that. I’m no expert, but I believe that essentially means, “come on, you bitch. Bring it.” That Steelers game was brutal for Pittsburgh. They were smothered by a stout defense, sure, but they also did plenty to shoot themselves in the foot. Also, you had your opponent out in the open field blatantly challenging your defenders. LITERALLY, Fournette is signaling that he wants your bitch ass “contact.” I love it….IIIII LOVE IT!
Man, I can’t believe I said in the offseason that Fournette would have a hard time getting going behind that trash ass Jags offensive line. They have really proven the haters like me wrong, but guess what – I’m still a hater. I hate the Jags, and their shit city.
Bitter much? I know.
Anyway, this has me inspired. I’m ready to run through a brick wall! But, if I do that at work, it will be frowned upon. Also, I will probably die if I run with that velocity into a brick wall. So, how about this, Internet – how about we say, “let’s attack this fucking weekend the way Leonard Fournette attacks Steelers.”
I’m ready….it’s Friday afternoon, and I’m in the open field, ready to hit a bitch. Have a good weekend, folks.
