Yeah – bike soccer hockey. It’s a thing, apparently. Why beat around the bush? Why try to come up with some elaborate journalistic intro for you guys? You saw the photo. You read ‘bike soccer hockey,’ thought “what the hell?” and here we are. This clip lasts just a few seconds, but in that few seconds, you should prepare to enter a rabbit hole of weird games:
Whoa. What the hell did I just watch? I feel like somewhere Broken Lizard is behind this. If not, they’re definitely coming up with some sort of script for a movie about bike soccer hockey. Hell, if they aren’t – I want credit for the idea when they inevitably do. Are those guys even still around? On a side note, Club Dread was a fucking masterpiece of cinema and I will not hear otherwise.
Anyway, I’m an only child. This shit legit looks like something I would’ve made up as a kid and tried to trot out to the neighborhood kids like it was the next hot new game. We would’ve played it once, someone would’ve injured themselves, I would’ve been blamed, and we would never play it again. But, the fact remains, this shit is straight out the head of child me.
But, the skill to pull this off is incredible. This isn’t just some sideshow – no, this is a spectacle of skill and tremendous hand-eye prowess. What a discovery. I wonder how many SoBros we can get to play this? Should this be our next content venture? Hell, maybe. Maybe we’ll just stick to butchering other people’s songs.
