For the Midshipmen of Navy, nothing is sweeter than defeating Army. Short of a National Championship, nothing means more. Hell, you can even argue that a National Championship is less important than beating Navy. But, I’m not in the room so I don’t know for sure.
Regardless, the Army-Navy rivalry is one of those rare ‘bucket list’ type games for every diehard sports fan. Hopefully, we’ll be there for a content trip one of these years. It’s definitely on the radar. But, one thing that has developed over recent years with the trend of hot shot unis coming into play has been the attire these two teams where. This year, it looks like Navy has pulled out all the stops:

So badass. These things just look fast. Like, if the bruising triple option were a uniform, this is what it would look like.
This year’s game has some pretty big implications, too. I can’t remember the last time that both of these teams were this good. Navy, though 6-5 now, was ranked at one point this year. And, at 8-3, Army still has a shot at 10 wins this season.
Oh, and for those of you who are unaware of who and what the Blue Angels are, check out the trusted internet source, Wikipedia. I can remember growing up and looking forward to the air show every year to see the Blue Angels.
This is a #prettycoolthing.
