The 2018 SoBros Network Event Announcements

Some of you may know. Some of you may not. So, I’m just going to go ahead and reiterate that this is indeed our last week in the office for 2017. We’re doing a little housekeeping, and focusing on setting our goals for 2018. Part of planning our vision board is getting all of our scheduled events sorted out. So, here we are. I figured I’d just go ahead and put ’em out there in case any of y’all wanted to start planning.

Part of the fun of what we do is that we aren’t tied to a desk for content. We love engaging with our readers, and we’re happy to give back to the people who have helped us make it this far. So, with that in mind, let’s unveil the events we have lined up for 2018.

2018 SoBros Network Events

First up in 2018, and I guess the cat’s out of the bag here, is the inaugural SoBros Comedy Night (God, we need to think of a better name for this). But, yeah it is exactly what it sounds like. Thursday, February 8th, we will be live from Buffalo’s Billiards for a night of standup comedy hosted by the SoBros. Save the date – we will be filming for our YouTube channel.

We haven’t set a date or a game, but we will get together at some point before the season’s over for a Preds viewing party at a local establishment. Be sure to keep an ear to the ground for this announcement.

Frolf aficionados rejoice. We planned the first ever SoBros Network Frisbee Golf Open for August of this year, but plans fell through and once football season hit, we were all cooked. So, the plan moving forward is to have this event in the Spring of next year. If you’d like to sign up, feel free to DM me on Twitter. I’m only offering eight slots for the competition, and it will be filmed for YouTube. #CONTENT, baby.

After such a wild success in the Spring of 2017, I’m happy to announce that the 2nd annual SoBros Foosball Tournament is planned for the Spring of 2018. If you missed out last year, you won’t want to miss out this year. It was a great time.

We’ve announced ourselves as sponsors for the Making Towns Classic on May 12, 2018, so plan on coming, hanging out with us, and catching a day packed with awesome women’s wrestling.

Big Natural’s Birthday Party will be a go again (venue TBD). My birthday is June 29, so you can plan for this bash to go down in the middle of the summer. Last year ended with me doing a full stripper routine in a parking lot in downtown Nashville, so I’m sure 32 will be just as exciting.

We’d like to get a Titans viewing party on the schedule for 2018, too. However, this will probably be announced late into the Summer. We’re months away from even knowing the schedule, so you’ll just have to stay tuned for this announcement.

It was the first event in SoBros history back in December of 2016, and I’m happy to say we’ve received the green light to bring this casual event back. Get ready for The Big Hang III in October of 2018 (venue TBD).

This year, we’re setting our sights on flag football. Yes, it’ll be content for our YouTube channel, but we’re planning on bringing SoBrowl I to fruition. Can’t wait to see how this one goes.

The 2018 SoBros Awards may take place from a public forum for everyone to join. It may not. Honestly, if you’re still reading this site in December of 2018, then God bless you, you deserve to come party with us.

Hope you’ve updated and adjusted your schedules, because 2018 is going to be big!
