Straight Forward Fashion: Super Bowl LII Head Coaches

Happy Big Game Football Week!

This may come as a surprise, but football has never really interested me. Honestly, sports in general don’t really interest me. The only sport I ever participated in was professional bumper cars for seven months back in 1994. I competed in beautiful locations all around Iowa.

Anyhow, enough about me and more about these coaches’ fashion!

New England Patriots: Bill Belichick

A bold choice by Mr. Belichick. Grey is flattering on anyone over the age of 43, and I rather like the details of the patriot’s face on his blanket sweater vest. Regardless, I see two errors in his wardrobe that would make me just as grouchy as he looks.

The blue undershirt just doesn’t complement what he’s going for. Now, if that was a red turtleneck underneath instead—well then we’ve got not only a stylish coach, but a confident man on the court.

The other issue is the double breasted padding on his chest. If you’re trying to distract the other team, then job well done. At the same time, you’ve lost a big chunk of decency sir.

Philadelphia Eagles: Doug Pederson

My. God. I hesitate to write anything as I am baffled and mesmerized by Mr. Pederson’s wavy blonde hair up on top. Take that despicable, stanky visor off and let it flow!

Also, I do respect any individual that believes they don’t need to flaunt and be flashy with their wardrobe to gain some attention. A simple yet majestic eagle on a black zip-up jacket is not a bad decision—just playing it too safe for my taste.

I know my friends at the Posh La Nail Spa are gonna give me grief for this, but I don’t mind the headset! I really don’t. It’s a nice accessory that I bet he uses to whisper sweet poetry in to some person’s ear.

But, bottom line is if Doug wants to get serious about his style, he needs some splash of color and to get rid of that menu and wedding ring.
