Professional wrestling is hard, people. There’s just no ifs, ands, or buts about it. It’s difficult to get in a wrestling ring and throw your body all over the place without getting hurt. So, believe me when I say that I have nothing but the utmost respect for someone who’s willing to give it a shot just for the sake of entertaining the fans. But, learning the moonsault is, I imagine, one of the toughest possible parts of training. Today, we have a cautionary tale of learning this fabled move:
Here’s a link to the post in case Instagram takes it down.
“I want my money if you don’t do it.” – Oh, brother he did it. He went and damn did it to the fullest extent. That took the air out of MY lungs, and I’m just sittin’ here watching it.
Look…again….I’m no expert, but I’m pretty sure a children’s playground is not the place to learn pro wrestling moves.
Also, my sources cannot confirm whether this man was attempting the fabled moonsault, or if he was just showing how awesome he can bump. In either case, that is an excellent landing that looks as though he is in legitimate peril.
That’s the essence of pro wrestling, folks. You gotta make it look like you about to die even if someone just aggressively bends your knee in the direction your knee is supposed to bend.
So, in a way, this is like magic. You’ve made me believe in the arts again, sir. Just hope your back isn’t totally wrecked.
