I don’t mean to pick on the fine folks of Indianapolis. Really, it’s one of our 10 “largest markets.” That is to say that, for some reason, there’s a strong contingent of our readership that resides in Indy. So, I don’t want to rub it in. But, I kind of have to. Like, that’s kind of my job – plus, I still have to cater to our absolute largest market: Nashville, Tennessee and the fans of our beloved Tennessee Titans. And, folks – we hate the Colts. So, now that news is breaking that Josh McDaniels has decided to stay in New England….well, we just have to take a quick victory lap.

Yeah, I’ll say that’s a stunner. A Stone Cold Stunner, even. I mean, for the last MONTH, McDaniels has been a veritable lock for this job. Now, in the 11th hour, he announces he’s sticking with the Pats. Ol’ Bob Kraft decided to up the ante, and “sweetened” the contract (as Schefter later reported).
So, back to the drawing board for the Colts. If I’m Indy, I’m looking for some sort of robotics expert to rebuild Andrew Luck in the mold of like, Iron Man, or Cyborg or something. But, that’s just this Titans blogger’s opinion.
Also, I’m aware that not every Colts fan is really going to be bummed out about this. There were a ton of reservations about McDaniels, as the dude comes with some serious baggage. Namely, that he’s a fucking asshole that wanted to control everything by sheer force in Denver. So, hey – SoBros readers in Indy, maybe you dodged a damn big bullet.
Time will tell. Just please don’t stop reading SoBros Network because we’re poking fun at this circus.
