In case you haven’t heard, former Tennessee Titans defensive coordinator, and NFL legend, Dick LeBeau, is a super talented guy. I mean, if the man ever decides to write a book, you’d have to make it a million pages long just to fit in all of his stories and many talents. He was an actor back in his day. People say he has one of the best golf games in the world. He’s dined with kings and queens, just like Dusty Rhodes…LeBeau isn’t just a legend. He helps redefine the word ‘legend.’ 80 years old and he’s still out there doing his thing, just being Dick LeBeau.
Well, lucky for us, Kristen Sheft here was able to capture one of his performances on video a couple days ago:

Ridiculous. Kind of heart-warming. It’s like sitting around the campfire with an old cowboy. You just feel his soul coming out of him. But, it’s also kind of sad. Yeah…yeah, it makes me sad. We won’t have such a legend on the sideline anymore. No more Dick LeBeau stories on sports talk radio. He’s no longer a fixture of the Titans. So, this little reminder of that was a tad jolting.
At least he seems to be enjoying retirement. It’s almost like watching an ex, or an employee you fired, doing much, much better off with you. The Titans discarded him, but joke’s on them. LeBeau’s just out there pickin’ and a grinnin’ like a sonofabitch. Probably eating a damn good hamburger, too.
Turns out, this happened at Brown’s Diner, but I don’t want to talk about Brown’s Diner because I don’t want people to start going to Brown’s Diner. Let’s keep our secret safe, Nashville.
