I’m a big fan of Chipotle. Just gut-stuffing burritos loaded with every kind of savory goodness you can imagine. Damn – my mouth is watering just thinking about it. But, as much as I love it…I don’t think there’s any way I could eat it, or anything for that matter, for 500 straight days like the man you are about to read about today, folks.
An Ohio man who ate Chipotle every day for the past 500 days says he is finally ready to eat something new.
Bruce Wayne ended his streak Wednesday after grabbing a meal at the Tiffin Chipotle branch.
No. Freaking. Way. As if the story of eating Chipotle for 500 straight days wasn’t already rich enough, you factor in that the guy who did is Batman?!?! This has to rank up there with the best fast food stories of all time. He even dressed as Batman when he went in to order his quesadillas for the last time.
Wayne broke the record for the most consecutive meals at the Mexican fast food restaurant in December at 426 days. Chipotle pledged a $4,260 donation to Seneca-based Financial Assistance for Cancer Treatment, in honor of the $10 a day average Wayne spent over the 426 days.
What an awesome story and an awesome record. If eating Chipotle was a sport, and maybe it is, this would be one of those heralded records. Right up there with Cal Ripken, Jr.’s iron man streak, Joe DiMaggio’s hit streak, or whoever the hell had that insane hit streak, and The Undertaker’s undefeated streak at Wrestlemania.
Just, kudos to everyone involved here. But, especially Chipotle. And, especially Batman.
