Mother’s Day is just around the corner. I’m sure some of you guys are already panicking just thinking about it. What do you get a woman you’ve known your whole life? I’ve had 31 Mother’s Days with my mom, and every year, I have no idea what to get her or how to top what I did the year before. Can you imagine? 31 years of setting the bar? Before long, I’ll have to fly her to the moon. But, one thing’s for sure – if I pulled up to the Mother’s Day strip show, she’d likely smack me in the face.
A Mother’s Day male stripper show descended into a large-scale brawl at a Normanby pub.
Police arrested two women after a fight broke out at The Woodman Arms, and spilled out into the car park behind.
The pub had advertised the stripper show on its Facebook page, encouraging people to “treat your mum to something different”.
And a picture posted by the pub showed dozens of ladies enjoying the entertainment on Sunday afternoon – with a group gathered around a stripper in a workman-style get up.
But hours later, violence erupted.
A witness claimed he saw women “all piling in” and a number of others being put into the back of a police van, after officers broke up the scrap in the car park behind Normanby High Street.
Damn, remind me never to mess with the moms of Normanby when they’re all hopped up on stripper dick!
That’s insane – you almost had me, Woodman Arms. I mean, there’s no male strip club in Nashville (that I know of – so, correct me if I’m wrong), but I’m desperate to find something more exciting to get my mom other than a new book and a box of her favorite candy or something.
Now that I see that these things end up resulting in parking lot brawls, I’m WAY less likely to take my mom out to a joint like this.
The Woodman Arms does sound like a sick spot, though. I don’t know if it’s because it’s British or what, but I’m just picturing me and the boys in there with our plush (not to be confused with THE Plush) robes on, puffing cigars and sipping scotch. Just sounds like that kind of place.
But, remember..you just gotta watch out for the big floppin’ ding-a-lings (don’t wanna poke your eye out, y’know? Just keep your head on a swivel), and the moms brawling in the parking lot.
