This may sound weird, but Nick Saban is legitimately one of my favorite people of all time. I’ve read his unauthorized biography and such. The guy’s an obsessive champion. But, he also shoots straight…and that’s kind of putting it mildly. Well, this week, our college football deity (Roll Tide) has had two very dominant performances. Up first, I’d like to review the press conference where someone asked Saban for his thoughts on LeBron James’ assertion that Alabama was ripping off his barbershop talk show:

SAVAGE. Saban basically called James the fun police. How lame do you have to be for NICK. FREAKING. SABAN. to call you the fun police? And, come on – no one in their right mind would believe that James own the copyright to people talking in barbershops. The whole thing is just fucking ridiculous. And, I’m typically a Bron Bron guy. But, this is just stupid.
So stupid, in fact, that Saban just isn’t going to take it. He basically said, “don’t care. We’re going to keep doing it. Deal with it.” At this point, LeBron just needs to call Saban daddy. He’s been had.
This almost sounded like a challenge to me, too. Like, “we’re gonna continue to do it, LeBron, and you know where to find us. Bring it bitch.”
Sidenote: how AWESOME would it be to hear Saban say ‘bring it, bitch’ to literally anyone?

Oh, this poor kid. Just a deer in headlights. At that point, you just know you’ve messed up and you have to accept the fact that you’re about to have your soul eviscerated. I also love that Saban’s go-to in this situation is “kiss my ass.” You don’t try? Guess what – kiss my ass. Not ‘fuck off’ or ‘step it up, buddy’ – nope….’kiss my ass.’
Man, he’s such a champion of men. Nobody in the sports world is as good as literally murdering people and stealing their souls as Nick Saban. I love it. I love him. Roll damn Tide.
