GIG CITY HERE WE COME! That’s right – this Friday, “Nature Boy” Brandon Vick and myself (and maybe Cad P.) will be heading down to cover the Chattanooga Film Festival.
As a brand and as a company, Chattanooga, Tennessee is one of our favorite cities. Always a good time with our brothers and sisters to the Southeast of us. It’s large enough to feature plenty to do – a neat little food scene, and views for days. I can’t think of a better city to walk around in. But, it’s still small enough to have that laid back, chill vibe.
We haven’t been back since August of 2017, when we went down to cover the Scenic City Invitational. And, we likely won’t be back until August of this year to cover SCI again.
But, what can you expect on this trip? Well, I’ll tell you one thing. You certainly shouldn’t expect a booze-riddled weekend, cramped up in a Best Western with four dudes who have eaten nothing but City Cafe for four days.
I don’t anticipate as much downtime on this trip. And, it’s probably going to be a lot less sweaty.
Like I said, we’ll be heading down bright and early Friday morning so that we can get Brandon to the first movie of the day. We’ll be podcasting all three days we’re down there so be sure to fire up the Periscope/Facebook Live/SoundCloud machines and tune in as Brandon recaps each day of the film festival.
Your’s truly will be rambling about town drinking beer, reviewing my favorite restaurants in the area, and snapping many a story for the SoBros Network Instagram feed.
In short, we are going to have ourselves a real blasty blast at the Chattanooga Film Festival.
